An online event, two days of pure awesomeness

Even if many developers are autodidact, there is nothing as good as learning from experts. Just to give you mouth watering, here is a list of topics we will cover.

  • Design differences between iOS and Windows 8
  • Tooling: Visual Studio and Blend
  • C# for Objective-C developers
  • Asynchronous programming
  • Consuming web services
  • Intro to building Windows Store apps with XAML (controls, layout and styling)
  • Advanced UI development with XAML (data binding, templates, and collections)

Documentation, and resources

For those of you that cannot join the live event, we also started to create some online documentation for you. Split into three sections, you can find the most up-to-date information for developers, designers, but also for everybody. It goes from “how to install Windows 8 as a MAC user” to an “introduction on Objective-C vs C#”, by giving you a “design case study on the iPad design to Windows Store one“. Everything you need should be there, and if it’s not the case, please let us know so we can try to add what are missing.
